1. Remember, you need to bring two (original and a copy) of the Renewal Application (notarized) and your picture. Personal checks accepted for $65.00 filing fee
2. Put your first and last name on the back of each of your pictures
3. In New Castle County, place to file is on first floor. Go left after security. Door on left (Prothonotary/Judgments).
4. Simple process (they will tell you that your permit will be mailed to you when issued).

A good practice would be to make a 3rd copy of all of your paperwork to keep for your personal files in case of a worst case scenario of them losing it somehow.

Also, if you go to Walgreens for your photo, opt for the Russian passport (IIRC) as it gives you 4 pictures for the same price you'd get 2 American passport photos. That way, you have copies of those in case the others are lost.

True. No place to store them once you get to the courthouse and you cannot bring it in with you. I have a DE bar card so I am permitted to have my phone.

Do you just notarize a set and then copy it? or do you need to have each copy notarized individually

When I went over to TD Bank to have them notarized, the guy just stamped all 3 of them (original and 2 copies). They don't charge anything for the service so it was a matter of 10 seconds worth of work for him. But as Soundman said, as long as you have the original notarized application, the copies are fine.

The original is for the official court file. The copies are used for circulation including to the AG's Office (the court doesn't want to have to make its own copies).
