My CCDW permit came in the mail Friday, one day short of 4 months after filing (in NCCo). Oddly, Mrs Sinker filed a month before I did, but hasn't received hers yet. She's happy for me, but a little perturbed - she's planning to call the prothonotary's office this morning.

Not that I know of, anyway! One possibility: I had my permit years ago and let it lapse when we moved about 15 years ago. (stupid, I know). Maybe I got bumped up a little due to having been approved in the past.
