Afternoon, Y'all. Can anyone tell me the laws on long-gun sales in Florida to out-of-state Customers? I'll be staying in the Clermont area from Tuesday until sometime in the Spring, and I'm looking at a shotgun up in Ocala. Thank you in advance.

I know it's legal to buy a long gun from a nearby state, if the gun is legal where you live, but I'm not so sure how many states away that applies. Usually FFLs know the laws in adjacent states (except for Dunham's in PA
) but FL is quite a distance from DE and they might not be willing to bother with the sale due to their uncertainties, even if it is indeed legal.So, a direct question to the manager might be the way to go.
