People have this peculiar belief that what you're saying is a few wisdom that is mind-melting. Cash is made by Firms, thats their purpose. Brilliant, have a RS gold seat and take your prize. Can we talk about how, as customers, we have the right to whine about how they earn their money? We had RuneScape game we adored ruined after. I wonder if capitalism is necessary. Saying that matters might only exist if they are profitable means that lots of items that are valuable, but not always monetarily, are forced out of existence.

Each year, why does a company need growth? Is it not enough just to sustain? Or even reduce gains but do some really good shit? It's disappointing that people that are fundamentally broken get to choose how the rest of us live. People that are selfish consistently take more than what they need, meaning that the correct play is to also be covetous. It's so disappointing, we could achieve a lot more if we weren't bound in this manner. Capitalism is fine. This is compared to socialism, in which the capital owners do not decide supply, and communism where there aren't real estate owners and the government decides what's produced in the first location.

There's nothing innate about capitalism which forces a business to grow indefinitely. Like, a local restaurant company does not have to grow to maintain providing a living for its owners. But when you allow your company to become publicly traded, because the folks buying in are gambling on growth instead of raw production you unexpectedly have a massive incentive to increase. The main reason is that investors that don't care about games are relied on by sport studios. It would be interesting if games studios could be run without any outside shareholders, but that is not practical.

OSRS Weekly Q&A Livestream

What is the point in this thread if you aren't planning to ask any of these questions Acorn? When you did one a few weeks back you simply asked boring typical questions such as; what's your day to day job like, what's the most interesting project you have worked on, what's the biggest challenge you've faced at Jagex etc.. These aren't that intriguing sorry, I believe folks would rather have questions answered from the thread so that they can learn about forthcoming changes, ideas on fixing pieces of content etc.. I have 16 questions on my document out of Reddit thread that is last and this Reddit ribbon. Sorry if your specific question wasn't asked on any of the current livestreams.

I've got some thoughts that I've tweeted about and got some attention. High/low alchemy pills - would start an interface like the explorers ring. Another use for clay. Ash said the dev who created tablets wanted to create these but was not able to at the time. Bones to peaches on any bone - that I end up bonecrushing most bones because lack of use following 99 prayer, no way to use bones to cheap RuneScape gold peaches etc.. This would assist in some places where bones have been dropped but not necessarily used. Personally fossil or wyrms wyverns for me. Ash said the exp threshold could change to have the ability to work on most of bones predicated on xp they would give.
