A friend is new to shooting. He done only a little plinking in the past and purchased his first pistol today. (Sent him to viper. Thanks for helping him btw!)

If anyone has a good instructor for a beginner class or two at a reasonable price, or just like to help start a new guy out right, I'd appreciate info.

Please post here or feel free to pm details. I can send along.

He's located lower NCC but flexible. ncc or upper Kent.

Thanks.

Wild Bill over at 302 Tac Ops is a pretty good instructor. I took the range qual over there a few weeks back in preparation of future training classes and it was a good basic class.

After he gets a few range trips under his belt and has the fundamentals down, I would suggest Action Pistol night over at DE State Pistol Club. The 2nd and 4th Wednesdays were meant for new shooters but I'm not sure if that is still the norm.

Wed nights are definitely less people and you can get pointers there.
