Different types of scopes for a handgun

Wonder what people here use. I am looking to buy a handgun scope and read this article on
laser sights had me intrigued on which type to get.

For CC - I don't use any additional optics on them but I do have a couple with lasers, if that helps any. The new Lasermax for say, the Beretta Nano, appears as part of the gun. There is a holster difference so will require a new one.

Ive got a simmons 2.5x-7x28 on my 45.70 t/c pistol. It holds 0 even with all that recoil, but i am using 4 scope rings
