I was wondering what brand/model/type of flashlight you may carry, and how you carry it?

I have a cheap little 9-LED flashlight (got at a gun show) that I carry around just in case (although honestly not all the time). It's really bright for how small it is. It'll light up my entire hallway and top of the stair area when shined (shone?) from my bed. I don't have a "pouch" for it, so it stays in my pocket....

I'd like to get something nicer, like a nice SureFire, but I can't justify the $100+ price tag for a friggin flashlight!

So, what do YOU carry?

Their G2 (http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/co_ ... /sesent/00) isn't TOO bad at $65, though that's still equivalent to like... doing the news paper part of your license requirement or getting fingerprinted. ;p

When I bought my Sigma, it came with a S&W Delta Force tactical flashlight with it. I kept the set together when I sold it, but I wound up picking another one up on Amazon for about $30 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000I4JG7Q). It claims to be 93 lumens and is very bright. I'd prefer a leather case for it and you'd be wise to leave it fairly well unscrewed when you're not planning on using it because I've had two instances where, apparently sitting in the car was enough pressure to activate the light and killed two sets of batteries on me. ;/

I just recently replaced the regular bulb in my 6P with the LED one. Instead of 65 lumens at 1 hour runtime, it is now 80 lumens at 11 hours! Available at X-Ring Supply.

Currently Streamlight Scorpion with after market brighter led light but prefer the rechargable Streamlight Strion with the brighter led light but the computer went out in it and I need to return it.

They are expensive but I use them very often; usually only for a few seconds each time I use them but I feel naked without one in my offside pocket.

If you are looking for a surefire quality light but not the high cost I would highly recommend the P3D by Fenix. All of their lights are top quality and I have been using them for years. Also its so small that I carry it everyday and dont even notice it and it puts out a hell of alot of light for something its size. Also you can buy the lithium batteries with a charger, I just throw the battery in the charger at night and take the fully charged one out and slip it in. Check them out. https://www.fenix-store.com/
