New Castle County Police have arrested two Philadelphia men, after they allegedly stole four tires and chrome rims off of a Nissan Altima in Pike Creek. One of the suspect was apprehended by a police canine and the other was found as he attempted to hide in a trash dumpster.
On Friday, at 4:25 a.m., officers responded to the area of 902 Greystone Lane, in the Summit Pike Creek Apartments, for a report of a theft that just occurred. When police arrived, they discovered a Nissan Altima that was left on milk crates after all four tires and chrome rims were stolen. The female victim informed the officers her boyfriend had chased the suspects away from the scene and noted they were driving a white pick up truck.
