FYI.........stay safe ~ Rob.

New Castle County Police are currently investigating a stabbing of a 39 year-old Wilmington man who was assaulted as he entered his garage and was about to leave for work.

On October 24 at 5:25 a.m., County Police and Paramedics responded to the unit block of Paladin Drive in the Paladin Club Condominiums for a report of a stabbing that just occurred. When officers arrived, they located the victim suffering from a stab wound to the upper body. He was transported to the Christiana Hospital where he is being treated for his injury.

Meanwhile, officers located and processed the crime scene, which was located in a detached garage near the victim’s home. The victim reported that he was responding to his car and upon entering the garage, he was attacked by unknown male subject who stabbed him with an unknown object. Investigators and officers canvassed the area and conducted interviews in an attempt to gather more information in reference to the incident.
