I hate to use this site but it was the most detailed of what I remember. I do not know how this applies to the law in a US Territory though.

Of course, to me all of this is pretty moot as I will surrender mine, one bullet at a time.

UPDATE: the storm has passed the USVI, but a few days ago, an interview was posted on FoxNews. it was the governor.

he basically said, no no no, it's not confiscation.

just in case our natg troops were not near an armory, and they needed guns/bullets/explosive things, they were authorized to take them. bypassing the need to purchase them, or return to the armory.

it does seem pretty lame. if that was the intent, seems the wording would have said that.

i tried to find the link today, but no joy. if you are interested, it was an interview with TCarlson and the usvi gov.
