First off I want to say it was bigger than the Million Man March. THIS WAS A MOVEMENT! EASILY OVER 1.5 MILLION PEOPLE. Bill Colley from Sussex County WGMD radio is getting figures between 1.7 million to over 2 Million. The people stretched from Capitol Hill to Freedom plaza...from the Capitol to the Washington monument. Highways backed up, trains backed up, streets backed, everything had to stop and wait for us. The government controlled mainstream news media did not cover it or they low balled the number. Even Fox news was reporting tens of thousands of people. However at one point in the morning today they did say the numbers weren't in, but it looks like millions of people were there. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE TOP NEWS STORY YESTERDAY AND TODAY!
I met people from all over the United States, Texas, Florida, Colorado, Alaska, Washington, Minnesota, Ohio, Maine. All of these people were respectful, kind and courteous...I can't remember ever being to a big event and hearing excuse me when people cross in front of you...saying thank you when you let them by. While my bro was in the bathroom, I was trying to get a snack out of my bag and still hold my large American flag and in no time someone noticed and offered to hold it for me so that I would not drop it on the ground. Words do not explain how proud I felt to be an American and was honored to be around such great people.
I ask you guys help us spread the word about this because this is how we are going to let America know...by youtube, facebook, myspace, twitter, craigslist, local papers, etc. etc. I need you guys too keep the fight going that your fellow patriots have worked so hard for.
