The C&R FFL... I don't collect C&R's, but you can apparently register for some hefty discounts on some online merchants. Check this thread -- LordJim posted a thread, I believe.

Yeah, him and I were discussing it with interjections from the other oracles of the site. I just thought you were going for an FFL that wasn't limited to C&R. Figured I'd ask.

Too much money for me. And I believe that you do have to engage in somewhat regular business in order to keep it or have it renewed.

It is my understanding that they have to give you notice that they want an inspection of your C&R firearms. Also from what I have been told you can opt to make an appointment take your C&R firearms to the nearest ATF field office for the inspection. Its a little different from having a 01 FFl and running a business. I think as long as you don't do anything to throw up any red flags like lots of buying and selling that may indicate you are running a business, the chances of them wanting an inspection of firearms and records are slim with an 03 FFL.

they can enter your home without a warrant if they want, is the way it was descibed to me, once you start booking those C & R's, there was a article about this subject in Shotgun News a few years back
yep you get discounts, most of those companies will give discounts if your a LLC or Corp anyway, they just want your Fed corp tax number

no C & R for me, beside those curio's are stamped with a importers stamps hardly making them collectors Items to a true collector anyway!

You guy's ever visit the MDShooters web site? They have a terrific site.

Here is their C & R forum, http://www.mdshooters.com/forumdisplay.php?f=83

There is a user there named Novus Collectus who is a great source of C&R info.

PA has a terrific site too,

In this thread a member there was audited when he was a MD resident, http://forum.pafoa.org/question-answer- ... cense.html
