They're not even writing it. It's all been handed to them from the Brady Campaign and Bloomberg's Mayors against gun violence. And this isn't the first time that it' hasn't even been read by a sponsor.

I'll look for the links but in Washington state they submitted a bill to come around and confiscate guns written right into the bill. Or something like that. And the sponsor was a lawyer and he admitted he hadn't read it! :banghead:

Next up would be the backlash of Cuomo's and him blaming Bloomberg and the Brady Campaign. Seems he too didn't read the laws before sending them off to be voted on, nor when he signed them. :roll:

Sean already provided a link. I'm also in the process of seeing if I can get some senator to also do a similar FOIA request for the rest of our gun laws. In particular the straw purchase and GFSZ ones. So far no luck with any response but then they're all on spring break, cause you know that 2 weeks work was exhausting.
