Carried in Janssen's (Greenville) yesterday after church. No one noticed, or seemed to care.
Went to Outback for "Bloomin' Monday". (Free Blooming Onion if Kevin Harvick finishes in top 10 in Nascar). Since he's been doing well this season, it's about my 10th time since February ! I've never had a problem, in spite of their corporate policy.
Gave blood last Friday. After, in the Refreshment Area, the Volunteer said he was glad to see me, that he knew Blood Bank was 'soft target' (his words). This was day after Annapolis shooting.
Other than DELOC meetings, I still rarely see other Open Carry, even though approx. 20,000 CDW licenses have been issued by state.

Where do you get that number? I don't think it's hit 10,000 yet.

Glad to provide some background.
See Sunday News Journal, 6-3-18, front page article "Why Women Carry". In the story, the author's research with State , or 3 county Prothonotaries, she cites "From 2013 to 2016, the State issued nearly 16,000 concealed carry permits, but was unable to break those down by gender." My license was issued in November, 2010, and it's number is in the low 1,000's for New Castle County (i.e. N100001xxx). So, from the 1,000+ when I got my license, plus Kent and Sussex up to that point, plus what was issued until 2013, then the 16,000 quoted from article, plus what's been issued in 2017 & 2018, I arrived at my 'guesstimate' of 'approx. 20,000 CDW Licenses' issued by DE. FYI- Each county has a separate sequential numbering system, starting with the 1st letter of the county (e.g. N, K, S for New Castle, Kent, Sussex).
I asked a recent licensee, and his number was in the low 9,000's for NCC. From past inquiries, I believe Kent and Sussex each have approx. 4-5,000 licensees. Perhaps if anyone knows a recent licensee, we can get a more accurate handle on the number. Prothonotaries are not anxious to discuss, plus I don't want to slow them down from their much more important work of actually processing licenses.
For additional reference, I would point you to a posting by NCC an hour after your question was posed. I cannot speak for the accuracy of the information, however.
See : Deloc Forum 'CCDW Diaries and Questions' posted 7-2-18 by NCC - 'PA LTCF Renewal- DE County', click on website posted, then click on 'Active CCW Permits' (listed by State), which lists 17,436 Active Permits in DE, as of 3-28-17. These figures are close to my 'guesstimate', and the figures cited by the News Journal author, sourced from the State.
Very coincidental that a posting on a totally different topic would have info useful to answer your question.
Again, any info out there of License # of a recent issue, for each county, would be helpful.
Thanks for your question, and allowing me to clarify. I am always happy to provide documentation, if I can, since my background is in the sciences.

That is interesting because I was told that the sequential number at the end is state-wide, and that seems to jibe with a cursory review I've had of some licenses from the lower two counties.
The first three digits do indicate the county and the year of issue, and I once assumed the number at the end was just for NCC. However, since I was told the number was state-wide my observed data seems to support that.

He meant 7-2-18 and it's still there. The link mentioned is this:
