Stopped in at Panera Bread, 140 E. Main St., Newark this morning. As I was giving my order to manager at register, the trainee-cashier standing next to her put her hands up and said 'Don't Shoot !' I asked her not to do that - NOT FUNNY - someone in store or walking by , could get wrong idea ! To quote Jeff Dunham and Walter - " Dumbass " . Manager said she had no problem with me OC - had seen me before many times. Hopefully she had a little chat with employee after I left.

She didn't happen to be a hispanic girl, thin build, long dark hair w/ a name tag that started with "E" was it?? IF it was, I'll educate her when I get home from work..... (my niece).

I'm glad it wasn't her and I'll ask if she knows the other girl. My niece, Emily, has been around me when I've OC'ed many times before and we've had a few conversations regarding it. She's joked around like this with me ("I'm not telling you or you'll shoot me...") but never in a public venue.. always around the house and family. If it had been her, she would've got a good dressing down on the issue, from me, for sure! Hopefully, it she does know who the other person is, she'll have a talk with her regarding OC.

Next time you're in Panera, if you happen to see Emily, tell her you know her Tio Jeremy... it won't really get ya any deals and she may charge you double for the food but hey, she might get a laugh out of it!

I had Letter to Editor published today (10-16-17) in Wilm. News Journal re: Open Carry Restriction proposal for Sussex County Council meetings. See Del. Code , Title 9, Section 330, Subsection (c), (d), and (e).
Apparently someone is Open Carrying to Sussex County meetings, and this is scaring residents and/or county employees attending meetings, so they want to pass a prohibition on Open Carry, as allowed by state law change from 2015.

Sunday, 10-29-17: Purebred, Greenville, 11AM. Another 65-ish WM, suspenders, was also OC'ing. No one said anything to either of us.

Went to Outback Steakhouse last 2 Mondays. Free , Blooming Onion when Kevin Harvick finishes Top Ten In NASCAR (he won both). He also won yesterday, so I'll be lunching there today. Friendly staff.

After Dick Heller talk at UD last night (where I was "naked", as required) about a dozen people went to Deer Park. Stopped at the car to put on my Glock. No one either noticed, or cared, no one said anything inside Deer Park.
Sat next to Gene Truono (R), Senate candidate, and across from Dick Heller. Great conversations!
