hello DELOC im new to the site and wanted to clarify something i read off a site that someone posted a link to on facebook. It said that you could not open carry in the city of dover and i was wondering if this was true or not. Any help/ info on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

That is true. I wrote to the chief requesting a letter of authorization to carry openly in Dover for my personal protection. I included a copy of my drivers license as proof of identification and residency. I received a letter back in two weeks granting permission.
