OK - you have a penchant for the unusual !! If you come through PA, go through Amish country - there's another large Amish man along Rt. 30, and some great restaurants in Intercourse, Blue Ball, and Bird-in-Hand !. Just after you cross into DE on Rt. 48 is the Marshall Steam Museum at Auburn Heights Preserve in 'historic' Yorklyn, DE. Really big collection of Stanley Steamers and other steam cars.
For a little culture, the Hagley Museum chronicles DuPont's early gunpowder days, and former DuPont family mansions are now period museums - Winterthur and Longwood Gardens. The Brandywine River Museum (in PA) has 3 generations of Wyeth paintings, as well as Pyle, Weymouth, Schooner, etc. Revolutionary War Brandywine Battlefield is nearby. Thanks for visiting 'The First State' !

Ah, yes - how could I have forgotten lovely Paradise in Amish Country, Lancaster County, PA.
Be careful of the horse and buggies. You might run right up their 'Gaps" (Gap, PA, that is).
By the way, if you have not seen the movie 'Witness' with Harrison Ford and Kelly McGillis (from 'Top Gun') (it's 30 years old, made in 1985), it's a good movie, and a fairly decent portrayal of Amish life.
As for other sightseeing in Delaware (or area), there's Air Mobility Command Museum at Dover AFB, the ocean, and a gazillion +1 chickens downstate DE.
